“A Journey Ends… and New Adventures Begin”

This Bookish Adventure Theme Graduation Party, was so much fun to brainstorm and put together.

What better way to Celebrate the Highschool Graduation of my  Lovely and whimsy, wordsmith, adventure loving, book enthusiast sister than to throw a Bookish Adventure theme Celebration.

Complete with leather, maps, coffee stained book pages, raw wood, cafe lights, white and cream mix-matched dishes, wine glasses, old bottles, whimsy flowers, sparkling grape juice, drippy candles, and a table full of love, family and laughter.

It is always such a joy to throw a party for someone who you know so well and love so much!

It was a night that any book lover and adventurer at heart would enjoy and one that our family will never forget!

Hello Friends!

Life has been quite busy as of late and has kept me from sharing all the happenings on this little blog.  I have had several very fun and exciting events and projects over the past few months, one of which was this special order through our etsy shop.  A wonderful Bride- to- be contacted me through our etsy shop after receiving some of our picnic silverware packets. She asked if I would be willing to do all of the programs, menus, signs etc.  for her upcoming wedding in the beautiful Georgia countryside.

I am so thankful that I was able to take on the project!  It was such a joy to work with Bevin and design these special things for her big day.   I hope you enjoy looking through them.

There will be more fun event pictures coming soon.

 Cheers,

Hannah Noel

Happy Friday friends!

We are enjoying another snowy cold day here in Tennessee.  Everyone is experiencing a little bit of cabin fever. We are eagerly awaiting some signs of spring.

I thought I would share with you these invitations that are now  in our shop

“A Measured Gift”

These invitations were inspired by a “Sugar and Spice” Baby shower that we did back in the fall.  It was a tea party theme, so for the invitations I wanted something elegant but with a little bit of  old-fashioned charm, and this is what came about.

You can see more details about the invitations here

Have a splendid day!

Cheers,

Hannah Noel

I must start out by saying that this was one of my favorite baby showers to work on and see come together.  This past month, I had the wonderful opportunity to help plan a shower for two special Mommies.  Both are due around the same time and are both expecting little boys. It was the perfect chance to put on a joint shower.  We decided on a “Classic Storybook Theme”.  Let me tell you, it was so much fun. The invitations were made to look like a library card in a pocket and all the food and decorations were inspired by much-loved children’s books.   It was so neat to see it come together.  Each lady in our church brought a book and a snack that went with the story. We played a nursery rhyme riddle game and enjoyed a sweet time of fellowship honoring and showering these two special ladies.

Below is the link for the sparkling lemonade recipe, the adorable shop where I purchased the invitation printable, and the link to our shop where you can purchase the Curious George drink bottles and lemonade sign.

Is anyone else ready for spring?

Cheers,

Hannah Noel

We Must Remember!

We must remember those that went before, remember the sacrifice, remember the hardship, remember the victories and the defeats.  We must remember the valor, remember the strength and remember the providence of God in the lives of many great men and women.  We must not forget!

We had the amazing privilege to hear and be reminded of these things when we sat and listened to a great hero and man of God recount what the Lord has done in his life.  Mr. Edgar Harrell has an amazing story, but part of what makes his story so profound is the fact that he recognizes the providence of God though all the difficulty and hardship of WWII and the sinking of his ship the USS Indianapolis.

We spent an evening dressed in 1940’s attire,  remembering in song, hymns and stories  from the 1940’s.  We remembered and honored a true hero.  In the process we ourselves made many memories that will not soon be forgotten.

“Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past.

Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders, and they will explain to you.”

Deuteronomy 32:7

Sometimes the best and most special photographs are those that are not planned and are spur of the moment.  That was the case with these snapshots.  It was a normal Saturday evening at our house, that was made special by Granddaddy’s stories and letting his Grandson take part in our families’ history by trying on Granddad’s  Air Force uniform (that happened to fit perfectly!)

It was an evening of stories, laughter, remembering and memories.   Something to treasure and will not be soon forgotten.

Do you have grandparents, or family members that would love to tell you about their family’s history?  I would encourage you to find out, ask questions and make sure that you write down the stories and document in pictures.   It is something that you will always treasure.

Cheers,

Hannah Noel
