I must start out by saying that this was one of my favorite baby showers to work on and see come together.  This past month, I had the wonderful opportunity to help plan a shower for two special Mommies.  Both are due around the same time and are both expecting little boys. It was the perfect chance to put on a joint shower.  We decided on a “Classic Storybook Theme”.  Let me tell you, it was so much fun. The invitations were made to look like a library card in a pocket and all the food and decorations were inspired by much-loved children’s books.   It was so neat to see it come together.  Each lady in our church brought a book and a snack that went with the story. We played a nursery rhyme riddle game and enjoyed a sweet time of fellowship honoring and showering these two special ladies.

Below is the link for the sparkling lemonade recipe, the adorable shop where I purchased the invitation printable, and the link to our shop where you can purchase the Curious George drink bottles and lemonade sign.

Is anyone else ready for spring?

Cheers,

Hannah Noel

  1. Excellent job, Hannah! I love the idea of a story book shower and I think you gals did a fantastic job pulling it off. (Abby did a great job with the button mints…super cute!)

  2. Hannah,
This is definitely the cutest shower I’ve ever seen put together. It helps that you were able to find books that lend to a well-rounded menu. Lovely job!
