I must start out by saying that this was one of my favorite baby showers to work on and see come together. This past month, I had the wonderful opportunity to help plan a shower for two special Mommies. Both are due around the same time and are both expecting little boys. It was the perfect chance to put on a joint shower. We decided on a “Classic Storybook Theme”. Let me tell you, it was so much fun. The invitations were made to look like a library card in a pocket and all the food and decorations were inspired by much-loved children’s books. It was so neat to see it come together. Each lady in our church brought a book and a snack that went with the story. We played a nursery rhyme riddle game and enjoyed a sweet time of fellowship honoring and showering these two special ladies.
